Borleske Stadium, Walla Walla

Borleske Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor athletic stadium in Walla Walla and is used by the Walla Walla Blue Devils high school football team, the Walla Walla Sweets West Coast League collegiate summer baseball team, and the Whitman College Blues baseball team.

While the stadium is called multi-purpose, it's main configuration is baseball. Borleske Stadium was home to many minor league affiliates from 1969 to 1982. Baseball then returned in 2009 with the Walla Walla Sweets and have been a popular attraction ever since.

The stadium opened in 1926 and was dedicated in 1940 and is named after Raymond Vincent Borleske who starred at Whitman College from 1906 to 1910 and is considered the finest athlete in Whitman's history. Mr. Borleske also returned to lead led his alma mater to a total of 17 conference championships in football, baseball and basketball. He also served two terms as mayor of Walla Walla and was inducted in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Hall of Fame.

The Walla Walla community is currently considering two options to the Walla Walla School Board for improvements to its outdoor athletic facilities including a new football/soccer stadium at Wa-Hi. Both plans would cost more than $15 million and would be paid for through a capital levy. If approved by the school board, the levy would appear on the February 2024 ballot.
